I just finished re-reading this gem. It is immediately clear why it has been and will continue to be a best seller. It is written with the heart of a pastor, the insight of a psychologist, the humanity of a father and husband and the hope of someone who has seen so many survive the process of grieving. It is simple but not simplistic. It is profound but not professorial. Most importantly, it describes the pathway through grieving that can only be found through honesty. The Late Granger E. Permission to be human.......

I believe everyone should own a copy of this booklet. It's a quick read. The shortest but most life changing book I've come across. In fact, it's the only thing that has helped me to grown, learn, n heal during serious loss. There are times nothing has the ability to bring me comfort, but what's written in this book. It's written so simply. But I had some huge breakthroughs while
reading this. I've read from cover to cover but I also shuffle through it. This book was made for whatever your needs are at this very moment. This is one I will forever have on my table. And I've given it to friends and family after terrible losses. God bless whoever wrote this.

EXCELLENT BOOK!

I'm still reading Good Grief. I have really l earned a lot from Good Grief. I have always thought of grief as having a relationship with people. Yet, when Mr. Westberg spoke of grief's relationship to other things such as jobs, pets and other things, it made sense. Personally when I lost a job not only did I grieve for it, I had a nervous breakdown. This book has been healing in many ways

The Best Grief Resource

Long ago in school a professor recommended Good Grief. Since then I have read and reread it, loaned it out, and gifted it. The Kindle edition means I will always have the text. I will continue to distribute it. Please read and share this book with others as we will all grieve.
